Time for Hope, the vision of Dr. Freda V. Crews, aired for the first time in early October 1997. From its early beginnings, on a handful of stations, the Time for Hope television program has grown rapidly, and presently airs weekly on numerous satellite networks and affiliates throughout the United States and Canada. The program has millions of potential viewers weekly and is still growing.
Time for Hope has had the privilege of having many of the most well known authors and mental health professionals in America share their expertise and stories of pain, despair, healing and recovery.
The Time for Hope television program is unique in that its hosts and their guests are not afraid to confront the age-old question of, "why does the all-knowing, all-powerful and loving God allow pain and suffering when He can take it away." Although, we do not profess to have all the answers to this question, we do believe we are able to make some sense out of this human dilemma, and we do not hesitate to point hopeless and hurting people to the hope that is found in relationship with His son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Time for Hope challenges its viewers to make exciting and positive changes in their lives. The host and her guests often do this through their own personal testimonials. At other times, it is done through guests sharing their innovative ideas and programs that have been tried, tested, and proven to impact the lives of many people.
Time for Hope offers many books and other resources that can change people's lives. Our goal is to become one of the best-known resource centers for people wanting to find more meaning and purpose in their lives. With each program, we offer a "product" related to the subject being discussed. It is usually a book authored by the guest. In addition, we also make available a one-page Fact Sheet that is compiled from notes of the show, the book being offered, and from other resources. This resource is free for the asking. All a person has to do is call us at 1-800-669-9133, or write us at P. O. Box 2169, Spartanburg, SC, 29304.

"It is rare that I am on a television show and feel such an immediate bond with the host or hostess. There were moments I forgot Dr. Crews and I were on camera, instead of enjoying an exciting, insightful chat over coffee. She is not only the consummate pro at interviewing, her wise, tender, authentic heart has endeared me to her forever as a real friend. Her audience is blessed!"

Dr. Crews always provides us with an up-to-date picture of counseling in the Christian community. If you want to know what’s on the cutting edge all you have to do is follow her program. Underlying this a primary commitment to those in the Kingdom who suffer emotionally in so many different ways. This is clearly a ministry in commitment and practice. "

"I really believe this is the best program in Christian TV. I have been viewing the Program for 2-3 years. It is practical yet still powerful, it’s not like other programs with a bunch of Christian jargon that you forget 5 minutes after you watch it. It is relevant to what we are going through in our lives, it gets to the core of how we grow."
